Are you confused of my title guys? I’m sorry about that but I’d love to express my thoughts as that. I hope you’d get the point after reading few more sentences what’s the post title all about.

Well, it’s more about getting more ambitious about what we want to experience in life. This isn’t about figuring out where we want to go in our career, or how much money we want to be making in ten years. This should be about what experiences we want to have as a human being. Have you ever gone skydiving? Do you want to? Well, I want to. Since, I don’t have enough budget to go to a good skydiving place, I just tried a skyrider ride at Eden’s Nature Park here in Davao City.

Well, what I really wanted to overcome is my fear of heights. Goodness sake, it took me a few minutes left that all of my friends are done skyriding before I was able to decide that I really wanted to join them, experience skyriding and conquer my fear. My goodness, at those moments going upstairs, I can’t just help but chase my heartbeat and start thinking if I die, at least I was trying to enjoy life before that happen and most importantly, I overcome my fear successfully. But oh thank God, because I landed safe. It was a terrifying experience. You might not even get the essence why I did that but to tell you, I have been living a so-so normal and ’safe’ life that I’d never had the chance to experience adventure trips. And that skyriding is my first time.

I was ambitious enough about what I want to experience and that pushed me to do that thing. Now, I’m setting my mind for another adventurous trip to somewhere that I could experience mountain climbing. And I tell you, my skyriding experience was a very fulfilling experience that even I couldn’t believe before that I can. I believe we have different perspectives in life and so we have different views on to what we really want to experience to enjoy life. It may be different but I know for sure, you have a lot on your list to do. Why not get it started? When will you try? Is it when you can never do it anymore?

Remember guys, after all, the first step toward making it happen is thinking about making it happen.

"I’m big on therapy," Mendes told me yesterday. "I’ve always said I love talking about therapy, because there’s nothing wrong with it. Why wait until something goes terrible in your life to start fixing things?"

Mendes, 34, has never talked details about why she did a stint in rehab earlier this year, but she did tell me that one of her biggest issues was coping with her own success. "Up until recently, I was really uncomfortable with having success and enjoying it," Mendes says. "I just couldn’t deal with that. How can I have so much? It’s not fair. How can the world have so little?…I allowed it to mess with me in the sense that I just didn’t know how to handle it."

Things are different now. "I’ve really broken it down to this simple thing: I deal with everything by giving it away," Mendes explains. "It’s genius. It works."

She literally gives things away, like the new pair of Cartier sunglasses she insisted an elderly friend of hers keep when she tried them on. "I said, ‘You need to have them. They look really good on you,’ " Mendes says.

Speaking of looking good, Mendes has been the center of a censorship storm because of her new steamy ad campaign for the Calvin Klein perfume Secret Obsession. A 30-second TV spot was banned last month by U.S. television networks because it showed part of her nipple. (Above, the campaign’s new billboard that was unveiled today in New York’s Times Square.)

Mendes could have had the nip slip cut from the commercial (it’s in her contract), but says she found the slight nudity "beautiful and tasteful."

In director and writer Diane English’s upcoming The Women, Mendes plays Crystal Allen, a smokin’ hot Saks salesgirl having an affair with married businessman Stephen Haines. Like Stephen’s wife Mary (Meg Ryan), Mendes credits the women in her life for getting her through the tough (and happy) times. "I’ve run into some women in my life who are like, ‘I don’t have any girl friends. I only have guy friends,’" Mendes says. "And I’m like to the guys, ‘Run for the hills when you hear a girl who says she only has guy friends.’ That is a bad situation, because all women should have their base of girls."

Where does that leave her longtime filmmaker boyfriend George Augusto? "He actually grew up with all women in his family," Mendes says. "His mom has five sisters, so he gets it."

Mendes first auditioned for English about three years ago. "They were like, ‘Oh, we’re not sure if you can do funny. We’re not sure if you’re the right person for it,’ " Mendes remembers "But then two years later, they told me I got the part. I’m like, ‘Wait a minute, wait a minute. I don’t know if I want it. Things have changed here, Miss Thang!’ "

Obviously, she decided to go for it.

Since we never see or hear Stephen—as in the 1939 original, no men get screen time in the movie—did Mendes picture anyone in particular when thinking about him? "Yeah!" she says with a big smile. "It was a very specific person that I had in mind. But I can’t tell you any of that stuff. Those are secrets of the trade."

Last September 1, 2008, Google announced in their official web blog about the launching of their browser named as- Google Chrome. Google believed that with the launching of this browser will help drive innovation on the web. Well, obviously this is what people are looking nowadays.

As they said, this is still on its beta version and is temporarily available only for Windows Vista and XP. Google Chrome still needs to work out to meet MAC and Linux users. So, what are we going to expect with this new open source browser, Google Chrome?

Quoted from Google Blog: On the surface, we designed a browser window that is streamlined and simple. To most people, it isn’t the browser that matters. It’s only a tool to run the important stuff — the pages, sites and applications that make up the web. Like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome is clean and fast. It gets out of your way and gets you where you want to go.

Under the hood of Google Chrome, we were able to build the foundation of a browser that runs today’s complex web applications much better. By keeping each tab in an isolated "sandbox", we were able to prevent one tab from crashing another and provide improved protection from rogue sites. We improved speed and responsiveness across the board. We also built a more powerful JavaScript engine, V8, to power the next generation of web applications that aren’t even possible in today’s browsers.

As usual, Google has a nice presentation through a Comic Book. The comic book explained why Google Chrome is created and what we will expect from it. Let’s give it a try guys. Eventually, we can share our views about Google Chrome and will help the collaboration of driving the web forward.

Well, I am happy because my Alexa Ranking is improving. If you remember, I posted the Top 10 Philippine Websites according to Alexa Ranking and my aspirations to also improve my blog’s ranking to them. I’m glad that now, it does! Though the rank is not really that high compared to others but I am happy because in just a matter of days from a rank of about 4 million is now 2,336,313. It is still a big number-It’s millions you know-but at least it also brought changes of a million or so.

By the way, the Alexa Ranking defines the traffic you are getting from people who are using Alexa. The least the number-the higher is the rank. While the opposite is the other way around. So from number 1-10. The website which is ranked 1 is higher than a website ranked 10. By the way, Alexa seems to be an affiliate or partners with Yahoo. I notice if my Yahoo visit increases so as my Alexa ranking too. In addition, Yahoo is ranked 1 in Alexa ranking and followed by Google as ranked 2. Well, are there any articles that will support my observation? I forgot if I read about this before or it was still my observation but it just really seems to be. If you have any articles or ideas about it, you are very welcome to share it in the comments section. Thanks in advance! I hope more Alexa Ranking improvements will follow.

Till next time!

Labeling simply means : Instead of saying, “I made a mistake,” you tell yourself, “I’m such a loser!” Admitting to yourself that you made a mistake is motivation to get it right the next time. You want to keep trying because you want to eventually succeed at the task. Your success can be almost guaranteed, depending on how you interpret the situation. If you call yourself a loser, you are telling yourself you can never succeed. That’s terribly self-limiting—not to mention a self-fulfilling prophecy.

We will not always be happy, at peace and contented. Most of the time, we are in the opposite side of the spectrum. We often tend to seek for other people’s heart to sympathize or even empathize for us but in my case, most of the time- I fail to find that. Well, there are a lot of things to consider.

First, that other person can’t just relate to your situation or feelings especially when you won’t tell them the details of the story. Worst, even if you did tell them they still can’t.

Second, their day or life is too good for you to just mess it up with your agonies and everything.

Third, they too have their problems to take care of. It’s more than enough to take the load of others.

Well, the above three considerations are based on my experiences. You may have a more extensive list than the above mentioned, or you may even have listed least than that. Well, have you ever experienced the needs to call somebody to talk to and a lot of unwanted circumstances will happen? For instance, you can’t see that person online on your messenger list, you got no load to call or send them a message or worst for some of my case, I lost my internet connection so I have no one to talk or things to cling unto.

But thanks to those unwanted instances and to those unskilled sympathizers and emphatizers. Why? Because even how much we wanted companions, a good listener and everything we may need to comfort us at that moment - they’d left us alone so we’ll have time to talk to ourselves. Besides, it’s exactly us who knows what we really wanted, how we want to be treated, how we want to be comforted. It’s only ourselves who can truly discern that.

On the other hand, people are social beings that we can’t just stop ourselves from wanting to have that person beside us who are skilled enough to at least emphatize with us at that particular moment of our lives-even when details are not given to them. That will sound better. So, often it’s a bit disappointing that at down moments of your life, you don’t have those people you expected to be with. I can’t help but selfishly think that sometimes people are there when they need you or you’re both happy and going to a party or whatever. Sad to learn that most of the times we are alone. For goodness sake, who would want to hear bunch of problems from others when you are already pre-occupied of your own thing. So I understand that. I really understand that.

I am just thankful that diaries are given birth and now, blogs are here. They may not interact with you as you write and rant all your feelings but they’ve given you enough silence and space to burst it out, to write it out, to release them all-however you may want to call that. Blog is not just a simple evolution of diaries, not just a good source of income but most importantly blogs are best listeners. They don’t react even how harsh the words you may write in it(unless you have those anti-Do’s). They just let you write, write and write until your fingers are tired that you decide to save it or not. Oh, before I forgot, blog is as truthful as it may seems. Blogs are truthful because they’ve given you the freedom to keep your rants private or open to public. And that is already within the author’s jurisdiction. See? how fortunate I am to be a blogger and for you who are also bloggers? You may not have yet that realization but I’m certain one day, you will!

Conditions often disguise strategies for escaping accountability. Why not just take charge and create the experience you are looking for?
- Eric Allenbaugh

The above quote is one of my favorite quotes that really inspired a lot of successful entrepreneurs and aspiring one like me. Eric Allenbaugh presented his thoughts really well that a reader, me for instance, could not just dare to move away from what he is reading. It even will cause you to pause for a moment and reflect how sensible and truthful it is. Well, this idea does not just apply to entrepreneurs but also to people from different walks of life. Have you ever thought of its relativeness to the cliche "If there’s a will, there’s a way!"? Precisely guys, if we have our goals - we have our will to that and so we must drop the conditions and find the way to achieve it. That made sense, right?
