ARK or Act of Random Kindness is the Key to Change the World

ARK or Act of Random Kindness is the key to change the world.

The above is the meaningful thought that the comedy-religious movie, Evan Almighty left me tonight.

I was bored to death and feeling exhausted so I grab myself in front the monitor and watch a movie. And Viola! I got movies in my torrent queued and it was Evan Almighty who finished the download first, just perfect for my craving body and soul for some unwinding moments.

Yes. The movie was fun and I love the presentation of ARK’s acronym.  It was too perfect that lead my fingers typing to my blogsome editor and blog about it though I just have some mood-contradicting thoughts in my head. Thoughts like, was the presentation of having fun of a biblical icon acceptable?

I searched over at Google — oh well, I am a Google SE User friendly, typed the keywords Evan Almighty reviews — and whooah, I landed to a lot of negative reviews guys! Were they too sensitive or am I too senseless that I found the movie fun and appealing for families? Leaving that experience of funny moments with lessons instilled? That was how the movie registered to me but I know we have different perception and I may have perceived the movie too far from what most people do. But the fact that I enjoyed it, I was able to attain my goal for tonight — and that is to unwind!

Till next time guys! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! ;)

It’s all about CHARM!

When you are working toward a goal, you have every right to use all of your skills — not just your intelligence. Today, pull out your secret weapon — your delightful charm! Flash that smile and tell people just how wonderful you think they are. People like to be treated well, and you know how to boost someone’s ego without crossing that line and being too flirtatious. By helping people lighten up and not take things too seriously, you’ll help them take you more seriously.

In The Right Time Frame!

It looks like your daydreams might be real — all signs point to great potential. If you feel frustrated that someone isn’t saying what you want to hear, the problem could be you. Why are you putting so many expectations on this thing? Don’t push on farther with this agenda, because it is not based on anything real. It is based on a fantasy. That’s not to say that some day it can’t be real, because all signs point to great potential. But it has to happen in the right time frame. You have done everything you can. Right now, the ball is in their court.

Laughter is still the best medicine!

If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, laughter is still the best medicine!

It is indispensable to feel that we are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Well guys, laughter is still the best medicine! Our life could use a little more humor to lighten our mood and put us into a better frame of mind. Just with my experience tonight, I can’t help being sick and tired anymore so I seek out some fun.

My first stop was to one of the video store here in Davao City where I happened to have a membership card from them. I checked out my past favorites and grab a couple  of new comedies and love stories, too.  Called up some friends and host a zany movie afternoon. There’s nothing like silly slapstick or even gross-out humor to help us take life a little less seriously, for a while, at least. Just for a very short while. ;)

A quote for Ambition

Ambition

There is no such thing as can’t, only won’t. If you’re qualified, all it takes is a burning desire to accomplish, to make a change. Go forward, go backward. Whatever it takes! But you can’t blame other people or society in general. It all comes from your mind. When we do the impossible we realize we are special people.”

– Jan Ashford

Critical Thinking?

Critical Thinking might be important but not as your critical thinking that might be too harsh when applied to a friend. We’ve got to tone it down once in a while. Critical thinking plus continued action equals major accomplishments for us, so we do not have to be afraid to be a doubter! Nothing is quite as it seems, so anyone who claims to have a cure-all is full of baloney. Ask them a few pointed questions, and you will quickly reveal them to be the snake oil salesmen that they are. Keep an eye out for overly friendly people or so. It doesn’t mean to be doubtful always but sometimes we just have to be cautious with things and people that we deal with.

Life is full of Surprises! Just don’t forget to learn from those!

Life is truly full of surprises. But these surprises, don’t often come in a way we want it. Sometimes, surprises come in a frustrating manner to teach us lessons for life.

This night is not a good night for me because of two reasons. First is that one of my free hosted blog has been flagged which means I could no longer earn from that blog which I admit my last two months of earnings comes from that blog. Well, it’s a goodbye and I can always start a new one. Anyway, good thing about that is one of their staff contacted me to apply the necessary changes to avoid my blog to be permanently suspended. In this first situation, I learned to Always read TOS or Terms of Services and other rules and most importantly, abide them!

Second, I got frustrated because of a certain situation. Here it goes. Last night, I’ve been seeking help to assist me with some technical problems I encountered to my other blog. Gladly this afternoon, I was able to find a help from someone I ALWAYS depended on. Please take note - ALWAYS. Then later tonight, I learned that somebody could no longer help me as I expected. So, I got frustrated. Frustrated because I’ve been waiting for a couple of hours for help but ended up to nothing. Frustrated too because I informed the concerned earlier that I badly need the expertise to do such things. Later did I realized, I was making myself dumb! I’m pretty useless. My bachelor’s degree is not justified by my acts. As all I just need to do, is to help myself, find resources, and BE PATIENT in reading and understanding every instructions given. I was not expecting to learn this lesson this way but as mentioned in my first statement - Life Is Full Of Surprises! Whether we like it or not, they come and go, come and go and life goes on.

Well, the lesson I learned from this experience is that - Too Much Dependence Will Lead You To Frustrations! I must admit, I learned long before that "too much" is always not good. But here I am, I’ve been too dependent to someone significant. I must also admit, that it is always my tendency to be dependent or shall I say it as a very wicked illness in me. Well, I think I’ve had enough for tonight and I believe I should try giving myself a rest from all these frustrating surprises in life. Sometimes, we really have to learn in a hard or painful way but at least, we learn. I am hoping I could stand alone starting from now. I am hoping not to be too much dependent anymore to anyone. Please wish me good luck! Till next time!

Name Me In English - “IRON59″

Here’s a simple challenge I would like to share to all of you. This challenge was given to me by my father and I just love to share it to you too.

Here it goes………..

In the town of PuzzleLand, there lives childhood sweethearts, Anne and ALexis. They grew up and pursued each others’ dreams. Anne became a Chemist while Alexis became a wizard Mathematician. Their lives turned as what they wanted to be and they got married. They had their first child and named it "IRON59". IRON59 for them is significant because it represents each other’s strength and expertise in their chosen fields.

The Challenge Is: Translate "IRON59" into a popular English name! Remember, IRON59 is the name of their child representing the parents’ expertise of their chosen fields!

Feel free to share your analytical skills in the comments section! Good luck and hope to see your answers! Thanks!
