One of the most anticipated entries on the said event is the first ever Pinoy animated film on 3D, the RPG Metanoia.

After five years of production, the film is finally set to be released this year. The release of the movie should suppose to be on year 2009, but because of additional production, it was set to release on Christmas of 2010.

According to Star Cinema, they believe in the material that’s why they have invested on the production. This would be the first ever animated film made by Filipinos to be shown in full length in 3D. Ambient Media is also in partnership with Star Cinema to make this movie possible.

The film is all about a group of friends who are trying to escape the realities by investing all their time on massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs). “The Beaver” to Rescue Mel Gibson

After the controversy on the life of drama-comedy actor and award winning director Mel Gibson, he is now back in a movie that would make people like him again. Mel Gibson is on his fallout when he was dropped as a cast of the movie Hangover because of his anti-Semitic, racist and misogynist rants. A lot of people are very disappointed about Mel Gibson and started to dislike him.

But now, Mel Gibson is back under the hood of the movie “The Beaver”. The movie is all about the story of Walter, a father who lost everything because of being broken. He lost his family, he lost his self and most of all the confident to live a wonderful life. At the verge of his distress, he found a beaver puppet on the garbage. Desperate of changing all the negativities that happened to his life, he put a voice to a puppet beaver in a British accent and from then on, he and the puppet become one. Because of that, he was able to revive the trust of his wife and get his family back. The puppet beaver that is clutched on the hand of Walter help him become a better person that he is used to be.

The story actually resembles on the real life of Mel Gibson. He is on the end of the rope when people started to turn their back on him because of the controversy. Just as he is about to fall out, this movie “The Beaver” will make people like him again. The movie will surely explain his remorse and that like Walter, he also want to change everything and get the respect back from the people. Mel Gibson has his chance on the movie “The Beaver” to let the ball rolling again.
