Forbes has finally released their annual tally for the most powerful celebrities in the Hollywood. The criteria is based on the fame and the money earned by the celebrity for this year.

Newcomers such as Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart(thanks to Twilight), joined this year’s list.

Let’s take a quick look who made it to the top 5 on the list for the most powerful celebrities.

Let’s start with the 5th place.

The fifth powerful celebrity this year goes to the golf icon Tiger Woods.

He has been into a big trouble this year because of the “womanizer” issue, but despite the setbacks and negative publicities, he still managed to earn $105 million. Despite the downfall of his revenue, he still generates millions from deals with Nike and Upper Deck.

Fourth on the list is no other than Lady Gaga.

She has the most surprising ranking on Forbes as she was able to get ahead from more established pop stars like Madonna. Lady Gaga has been on world tour and has been partnering with some strong corporations. And these have made her $62 million richer than any other celerbities on the list. Add to that is her fame and her being internet sensation nowadays.

But of course, our 3rd placer is richer and more powerful than Lady Gaga, and this is in the personaliy of the Avatar director James Cameron.

Who would have though that the only person who can break the record of “Titanic” in the box office is James Cameron. It is just like breaking his own record, for he himself is the director of the movie Titanic. Thanks to Avatar for bringing in $210 million to Cameron’s pocket. Cameron continues to generate million as the Avatar has been released in the Blu-ray edition.

For the second place, let’s give it up to Beyonce Knowles.

She climbs two spots higher from last year’s list. She was able to bring in more than $85 million throughout the year. All credits should go to her album, her fashion line and some endorsements.

And the top spot goes to the queen of all media herself, Oprah Winfrey.

She got the most coveted top spot on the Forbes list. Although this is not her first time, this could be a great triumph on her end as she was able to get back the top spot from last year’s Angelina Jolie. Oprah was able to earn a whooping $315 million throughout the year.

Oprah should be threatened, for I will gonna get her crown next year.

It has been rumored that Charice Pempengco will be joining the cast of the Musical TV show Glee, but the later’s camp denied the rumor. But now, the rumor has turn into reality. It is official, Charice will join the Amrican TV hit show Glee.

Her role in the TV show is a foreign exchange student and she will face-off with Rachel. She will be clashed with Rachel and she will be a threat because of her singing prowess.

The new singing sensation has also confirmed the news in her twitter account saying:

It’s official. I’m on Glee (next season) but story behind it. When d rumor came out, it wasn’t true. But then after that; I tried to audition. And i made it!!! Let’s Party!!!!

Charice’s appearance on “Glee” is something we Filipino should be proud of. We all know that the TV show is very famous, and of course we all love to see a Filipino singer included in the casting.

Charice’s stint on Glee is a very big stepping stone for her career in Hollywood. What she need to work out now is the support and acceptance of the audience worldwide. Let’s support Charice on her journey as she raises the banner of the Filipino talent.

Scarlett Johansson hailed as Best Featured Actress in 2010 Tony Awards which was held on June 13, 2010 at Radio City Music Hall. The award is for her performance as a featured artist in "A View from the Bridge". Her male counterpart is Eddie Edmayne for his role in "Red".

Scarlett, on her acceptance speech said that she really desire to be in a Broadway since she was a little girl, and she proudly accept her award.

"Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be on Broadway, and here I am."

The actress showed up in awarding night with her husband Ryan Reynolds. The couple rarely shows up in public together, and people really love to see them together.

Scarlett Johansson appears in a green sequined grown which seems to be made up of artificial grass. She looks beautiful with her gown, and her birth mark on her left arm is an additional factor for her charming personality.

This is indeed a great night for Scarlett as she bags home the award for best featured performance as an actress.

Seems like Sandra Bullock’s career and love life is back on the track. She has seen lately with her estranged husband Jesse James, and both of them appear to be happy together.

Aside from the budding love life of the veteran Hollywood actress, she will also star in the upcoming action film “Most Wanted”. She will team up with Ryan Reynolds who happens to be her co-star in the movie “The Proposal”. Sandra Bullock will play the role of a woman on the run with an agent who is looking after her.

Sandra Bullock has been recently active in her career after winning the Best Actress award in Oscar for her movie “The Blind Side”.She has been into romantic comedy movies over the years and she is known to be the best on her own craft.

The team up with Ryan Reynolds would put some magic into the movie. Their movie “The Proposal” is a big hit, and they will surely create another level of chemistry on their new movie. The tentative title of the movie is “Most Wanted”.
