This week is an official release of Charice’s second single off her first album Pyramid. The song has been a favorite among digitally downloaded songs from iTunes. It was released on March 2, 2010 in the major U.S. radio stations.

The singing sensation Charice Pempengco is in all her best in the song "Pyramid", it also features Virgin Islands singer-rapper Iyaz. The song was written by Swedish songwriter David Jassy and R&B singer Lyrica Anderson and produced by music production group Twin.

Charice is now on her way to Hollywood as her song "Pyramid" places No. 26 on the U.S. Billboard. We all know that penetrating the US billboard is such an accomplishment for a singer.

New Moon is over, and I hope you were able to get over with it.

If you can’t get enough of Edward and Bella, you can start moping around on their new movie Eclipse, the sequel of the Twilight movie. You can start hanging out on their new movie poster for Eclipse as it has been officially released in a dark mode.

The poster features gorgeous Bella at the center with Jacob and Edward standing hot and handsome at the back. The poster has a resemblance with their previous movie poster.

Looking at their new movie poster, you can see that the color is dark and totally gloomy. It looks like they want to tell us something. A dark secret perhaps, or something deep, or it might be some kind of ominous stuff.

The movie poster tells a lot of story. It is very powerful that you will think for awhile. With their gesture, facial reaction and the whole concept of the image, you can say that things are about to get very real.

Lady Gaga is being sued by her mentor and former boyfriend Rob Fusari. The songwriter and music producer claimed that he is the one responsible for the success and fame of Lady Gaga. The Grammy winner abandoned Rob Fusari after she got her fame and success.

Rob Fusari filed a $30.5 million lawsuit for helping Lady Gaga to launch her career and co-writing some of her hits and for creating her stage name.

Stefani Germanotta also known as Lady Gaga is being introduced to Rob Fusari in March 2006. He co wrote songs like “Paparazzi” and “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich”. The suit says he took the name Lady Gaga from Queen’s hit, “Radio Ga Ga.”

Rob Fusari is seeking to get the full amount that he is seeking. But hopefully, the issue can be resolved out of court. Lady Gaga must settle this case so this would not interfere on her summer tour.

Who doesn’t know Paula Abdul?

You surely missed her after being axed out as a judge in the American Idol.

We will wait for Paula Abdul’s return as she is set to host a remake of Star Search, a talent show hosted by Ed McMahon in 1980s.

Paula Abdul is said to be finalizing her deal to host the show. Star search will be back on TV this 2010 and Paula Abdul is commissioned to act as a host at the same time a judge. The full details of the remake is still under discussion.

The concept of the show is not only limited for singers, it may also include actors, comedians and models competing each other.

After her successful role as White queen in the Tim Burton’s movie Alice in Wonderland, Anne Hathaway will do another movie with Jim Sturgess. The movie is a romantic comedy directed by Lone Scherfig, the director of the Oscar’s Best Picture nominee An Education.

The casting is not yet final, but the negotiation is still on going for Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess to lead the film. According to Nina Jacobson, the film producer,    the movie will be released this summer in London wit Hathaway and Sturgess as lead casts. The deals aren’t closed yet but they are currently negotiating it.

The movie is all about the story of two friends that meet during their graduation and reunite for one day every year for the next 20.  

Whatever is the story line, as long as there’s Anne Hathaway, this would surely a hit.

I was able to watch Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland and thought of sharing my own opinion with regards to the movie.

Well, the concept of the story is not surprising to all of us since this is based on the classic novel of Lewis Caroll. It’s a story of a young ordinary girl wandered in Wonderland through the help of a rabbit. And you surely know what happened next.

In the movie, Tim Burton has twisted the story and added new elements. Of course, the original concept is still there, but with Burton’s magical touch and genius concept, you can still get a sense of surprise from the movie.

The movie seems like another story of Alice in Wonderland. Although the characters and the concept is based on Lewis Carroll’s famous works, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, Burton was able to tell the story according to his own perspective.

Burton’s new movie features a 19 year-old Alice who’s forgotten all about the Wonderland (or Underland, as Burton rechristens it) of her childhood, preparing for her engagement to a wealthy young lord. Panicking at the moment of truth, Alice flees into the woods, falls down a rabbit hole, and finds herself in a strange world that remembers her, even if she doesn’t remember it. A prophetic scroll reveals that Alice is fated to become the savior of Underland, slaying a terrible beast of legend and freeing the land of the Red Queen’s tyranny.

What makes the movie amazing is that Tim Burton was able to use the characters and the concept of the story in telling his own version. This is another excellent Burton’s masterpiece and the movie is worth watching.

The 82nd Academy Awards recognized Sandra Bullock as Best Actress for her role in The Blind Side, the movie was directed by John Lee Hancock, and starring Tim McGraw and Quinton Aaron. Sandra Bullock portrayed the character of Leigh Anne Tuohy.

The competition for Best Actress award is very stiff. But the 45 year old actress Sandra Bullock got the coveted award beating other nominees such as Meryl Streep, who had been nominated for “Julie and Julia,” Helen Mirren, for her role in “The Last Station,” Carey Mulligan for “An Education” and Gabourey Sidibe, who had been nominated in the best actress category for the film “Precious.” On her speech of acceptance, she graciously spoke to the other nominees. Sandra Bullock has been so emotional with her speech. She thanked her mother, and dedicated the award to all the mothers in the world, drawing reference from her character in the film.

“Did I really earn this or did I just wear you all down? I would like to thank the Academy for allowing me in the last month to have the most incredible ride with rooms full of artists that I see tonight and that I’ve worked with before and I hope to work with in the future, who inspire me and blaze trails for us. Four of them that I’ve fallen deeply in love with I share this night with and I share this award with.”

She’s sexy, she’s hot and she is definitely a credible singer.

But not for her personal trainer who is suing the singer Rihanna for not paying her more than $26,000 for her service to the songbird.

Cindy Percival, Rihanna’s personal trainer, has filed a complaint last week in Los Angeles Superior Court stating that she was never compensated for working exclusively for Rihanna in September and October 2009.

According to Scott Fischer, Percival’s Attorney, Cindy has been solely working for Rihanna, she devoted her full time to the singer and that she stopped seeing her other clients because she is committed to the singer. Rihanna got a hold of Cindy as her personal trainer without any explanation. Cindy has been sending an invoice for her payment to Rihanna’s camp but they sent a response letter ignoring the agreement.

Rihanna has not yet released any response on this issue. So we should not judge her camp yet. There might be some misunderstanding on the agreements and that is what we need to evaluate first before judging them.

The young singer Justin Bieber has just turned 16. Bieber received a lot of birthday greetings and wishes via twitter and text messages.                                                   

With the impact of Bieber to the young audiences, he can already drive himself a concert. During his birthday party, Bieber sent a form to the parents with a warning that attending to his birthday party might be too risky for their children. The parents have to sign the form as an agreement that they have been warned. Fans who are under 18 aren’t allowed to go unless parents will sign the waiver.

The birthday bash had started last Saturday and the celebration continues until Monday, the actual birthday of Justin Bieber.

We cannot deny it; Bieber is indeed a certified sensation to young audiences worldwide. At the age of 16, he earned himself the admiration from his fans. Expect more from Justin Bieber as he strives to offer the best entertainment in the music industry. Let’s see how far he can go with this.
