Thanks my Alexa Ranking is improving!

Well, I am happy because my Alexa Ranking is improving. If you remember, I posted the Top 10 Philippine Websites according to Alexa Ranking and my aspirations to also improve my blog’s ranking to them. I’m glad that now, it does! Though the rank is not really that high compared to others but I am happy because in just a matter of days from a rank of about 4 million is now 2,336,313. It is still a big number-It’s millions you know-but at least it also brought changes of a million or so.

By the way, the Alexa Ranking defines the traffic you are getting from people who are using Alexa. The least the number-the higher is the rank. While the opposite is the other way around. So from number 1-10. The website which is ranked 1 is higher than a website ranked 10. By the way, Alexa seems to be an affiliate or partners with Yahoo. I notice if my Yahoo visit increases so as my Alexa ranking too. In addition, Yahoo is ranked 1 in Alexa ranking and followed by Google as ranked 2. Well, are there any articles that will support my observation? I forgot if I read about this before or it was still my observation but it just really seems to be. If you have any articles or ideas about it, you are very welcome to share it in the comments section. Thanks in advance! I hope more Alexa Ranking improvements will follow.

Till next time!

  1. Google has moved up in the Alexa rankings and is now placed in the second position behind a very consistent yahoo.com. Google has replaced MSN.com which is now placed at the third positions. However, the traffic reach of live.com is rapidly increasing and Microsoft is seemingly putting all its attention in Live.com. One need not be surprised if Live.com conquers the top position in the near future.
