Sudden drop of PageRank?

I really didn’t know that much in search engine optimizing but then as a blogger I’ve seen the importance of page rankings to generate more traffic on your site. Google is the most prevalent search engine nowadays and they rank web pages which indicate how important the page is. The higher the rank, the more is its importance. The more the importance (as Google treat them), the more chances to be indexed on the first page everytime a user queries for a subject matter relevant to your post.

Now  here comes RealRank of IZEA which is a parent site of PayPerPost. This new thing confused me of how this ranking of IZEA would help the bloggers like me when we all knew that Google is trying really hard to ban those sites that are prevalently selling links along with their PR. And honestly, I’m one of this. I observed weeks ago when I started posting a lot on this certain mediator from an advertiser to bloggers, I think I’ve posted about 9 topics in a row for that. The offers were really good but then a week after that I noticed the sudden drop of my page ranking in google. Which will mean that I’m of least importance so less probability to be indexed by them every user queries. Well, as a newbie I’ve learned a lot from reading other blog posts related to my problem. I got a lot of inputs from other professional bloggers and now is the time to weigh things. It’s like torn between two lovers. If you sell links, you’ll definitely earn a lot as I did for the past weeks but page ranking in google decreases and will never cease until we do so. Could any blogger take that risk and conquer their limitations that we really depended much of our traffic from the most effective search engine nowadays, Google. Meaning, can you live without Google rankings? Will RealRank of IZEA really helps?

  1. I noticed last Sunday that my PR suddenly flopped from 3 to zero. Since then, there’s no available for me from PPP and 1 entry I submitted to Blogsvertise was rejected because I don’t have a PR 3 or better. Based on Blogflux, my PR is still 3. My realrank is still zero
