What a heavy way in PRELIMS & a surprising movie!

Yesterday was the last day of my exam. Atlast I feel so relieved because my exams are done. And I’m quite happy with the result based on my performance. On my way home, 7:00pm…I unintentionally fall asleep without taking my dinner. I woke up around 10:30 in the evening. I ate my dinner and look for something to do since I can’t go back to sleep yet since I’m still very full. I decided to practice the tutorials I downloaded and oh!>…My gosh!…I left my flashdisk in the laboratory…katanga nlng jud…hahay…I was just blessed that it was Maam Nelia who have found it.

Well, PRELIMS is really a very long way for us. It’s just that everything,…i mean all of our subjects taken now are indeed very demanding…..as in…….And here now, preliminary assessments were done.

So while waiting for me to feel sleepy again, I happened to scan  my things and found a movie that I haven’t watched before or maybe I just have forgotten it because it was still during 1993 since that movie was released. I started watching the movie at 11:00pm entitled "ALIVE".  It was based to a true to life story of a sports team (i forgot the game they are in to) that the plane they were in happened to crash….You know what, they really have survived by doing the most unimaginable thing that a man can do. They were stranded to an icy place where all you can see is ICE….as in….they have some of their companions who died in that accident….You know what they were there for 10 weeks and you know where they got their food to surivive?…Gosh…they were forced to eat human flesh just to survive. The flesh were frozen and it was like a crispy fried chicken….krk….krk….sounds you hear everytime they chew those flesh…It was indeed yuckeee…..eeewwww….but if you’re into their situation? CAN YOU???

…..I don’t mean to be sarcastic or what but I just don’t like the atmosphere happening with our sociology classes. I couldn’t appreciate my instructor’s way of teaching. Its just that, in every session, we could only touch 30% of the intended topic and most of the time we got so far and emphasizes things that were not supposed to be emphasized. I’m not just being kill joy or what but no session will be ended unless sex techniques and other issues will be opened inside the classes. Is this what she suppose to educate us?…Yes, there’s nothing wrong with sex education but then it must be in an appropriate setting for that. Until such time, discussion will led into foolishness and some foul things. Well, Im sorry for those who can appreciate these kind of topics much but isn’t that justfiable to discuss such things for almost 1 hr??? in the class session instead of having those things studied about sociology. Yeah, I too agree with that it’s part of sociology since there is social interaction between that…but…hhmmm…I just can’t appreciate it really…I ended the session with nothing inputs into my brain…Before, I’m quite excited with that subject because it will broaden my understanding on how peoply and why people reacted in different situations….but now…I don’t even like to study the lessons…I even took the exam with no preparation at all….Yes I know I must overcome this because if I got low grades it would be me will be at stake…haayyy….Sorry for you but not all of us can appreciate your style…I just hope I’ll learn to appreciate it in the near future….

Systems Analysis and Design PRELIM Exams

It was indeed a very mind breaking exam…You’ve got to dig all you have stored into your brain(if you have) or else you’ll be left in failure. It’s quite difficult yeah, because it is very much objective and you really have to read the four chapters in the book.ITs are not used to it. ITs don’t memorize things, but understand them, analyzes them and implement them. Yet, this theoretical exam is not just for memorization purposes because questions are very well trickly done by our instructor…MR.X!..Gosh, imagine, only three from the class happened to pass his exam.?!? Oh my gosh, it’s too dangerous…our future is at stake…my classmates’ future are at stake. I just don’t know if there will be considerations for some items there that might help them increase the score they’ve got.

Lesson: Students must study. Read and understand. We have no choice but we have to love it or else…hhmmm….tsk…tsk…tsk…too bad!

God bless everyone!

My Critical Thinker Professor….

I am supposed to write this blog right after I heard this very convincing opinion from this professor of mine. He shared his idea with regards to the law that deals with criminals under legal age or as we often termed "minors". A certain senator(I won’t just give the name) passed a resolution that whenever a minor committed crime/s then he won’t be put in jail but instead will be adopted by the DSWD. He said, why such law be implemented in an underdeveloped country like the Phillippines whose society are undeniably lack of discipline and are not well educated?..And yet, this senator keeps on implementing laws like of other western country whose society are very much opposite to ours. And tell me, isn’t he correct?…hhmmm, well, if you’ll answer my question with Yes, then you might have been dreaming of something that wouldn’t be realized…and if ever be realized it may took million years before that happens. I, indeed is very much convinced to his idea.

In addition to that, Philippines is so ambitious to become a developed country(the least that we could be) or even be a part of the First World Countries…Then how could we make those wishes true when we have this kind of laws that won’t give fear to criminals to commit crime. Everyday there are a lot of crimes committed and worst, young people were used to do so. Do you think, with such system, as ours, we’ll attain all our wishes?…NO! My critical thinker professor even suggested if minors won’t be punished for such crimes committed (to give them chance to change) why not punish the parents who irresponsibly raised their children and lead them to these kind of actions?…What do you think?…Our society is in damn need for discipline and there are explicitly irresponsible and undiscipline parents who raised their children carelessly…Well, I think this is a good suggestion from my critical thinker professor right?..In order, to produce young people (who are known to be  "Pag-asa ng Bayan"), who are well-educated and disciplined…responsible parenthood is in much need….What do you think?!?

Reaction: PDA Final Expulsion Night

Well, I’m not this fanatic with this show but I just happen to watch its final expulsion episode last night which will determine who will be given the chance to perform in the Araneta Coliseum this coming Saturday Dec. 16 , 2006, — the most awaited Grand Dream Night. Well then, I’m just quite disappointed with some of the results who happen to get the slots last night. Of course, I do have my own "pambato"…There were just who for me, deserves more the slot than —- & —-….Well, it’s not yet the end of the world…Good luck to them! Better luck next time ROSITA and YVAN!

PSITS 2006 Evaluation

Good day bloggers!

It’s been quite a long time since the last time I have written something here in my blog. Well I just wanna share this very much awaited event for the ITE Program and also very much unexpected results from PSITS 2006…Well, I could still remember that I’m very much eager for such activity to come…preparations?!?…name it…We’ve been chosen Kat and I for a quiz show so we  really had our reviews and very much excited to win…And now here comes the PSITS 2006 which was just held last December 1 and 3…And guess what had happened…All the efforts and preparation is NOTHING…Events such as QUIZ Show & Programming were cancelled due to the lack of time to prepare and host those activties…What was just pursued was the Sportsfest and the ITE Nyt which comprises events such as: Modern Dance, Acoustic and MTV’s Spoof…When what should have been realized are those academic activities and are worth to be prioritized… And you know what’s more disgusting with that PSITS?…It was partially culminated b’coz ITE NYT events are not yet done due to not starting the event on time…They’re supposed to start @ 6pm but they happened to begin the program around 7:30 or 8pm…tsk…tsk…so disappointing…sorry to say this, but the set of officers should have prepared well to make their plans feasible. And also, if they feel like they can’t make it, why RISK such a big event of the Information Technology Education Program of all universities in Region XI…hahay…I hope this won’t happen again…

Well, for the set of officers and representatives..I appreciated your effort and I knew it was a difficult task coz I can relate to that too since I am an officer of our dep’t..But then, we should know how or when to say WE CAN do it  and when to say WE CAN’T…Of course, as a leader we should knew how to anticipate risk and determine the team’s capability to accomplish tasks effectively…If you happen to read this post, take this as a healthy criticism for a more effective output the next time around…Good luck!!! Hope this disappointing things won’t happen again…
